Ko wai au?
Maxwell Productions was established as a side hustle in 2020 by Max Tiweka after realising the importance of having a fresh māori lens on the videography and photography space.
Our mantra is creating taonga through visual storytelling. For us, the taonga is often in the journey and we get a real kick out of helping our whānau achieve what they want when working with us.
Whether you need some whānau photos or a complete visual overhaul we can help you make your taonga a reality. So whakapā mai, let’s see what we can do
Our “anga’s”
Manaakitanga
hospitality, kindness, generosity, support
To be caring towards what is in front of us and keep in mind how decisions we make now can affect the future and benefit us in the future.
Tikanga
correct procedure, custom, practice, protocol
To follow the protocols that have kept us safe for hundreds of years and when operating under someone else’s korowai of manaaki to appreciate their own way of operating in accordance to their tikanga and protocols.
Whanaungatanga
relationship, kinship, sense of family connection
Relationships, kinship and the process of whanaungatanga as a whole is important to us. Knowing who is at the table and that everybody has a say and an important role in how we work together.
Teatoweltanga
slang/made up word but IYKYK
Never being “too important” to pick up a tea towel, set up chairs, make cups of tea if that’s where we’re needed most. Mā pango mā whero, ka oti ai te mahi.
